EFFECT ON THE AUDIENCE

9 lives gives us the view from the woman’s eyes and sometimes we see her to identify the character. That is why the camera is at shoulder height and moves a lot so we feel more in the movie
The shot scale is very small to emphasize that she is imprisoned in jail and gives a claustrophobic feeling
There is no editing making the time perception seem real

Jurassic Park has different angles to show all the dimensions and what is happening because there is a lot going on at the same time. There isn’t only one character, there are many people and a lot of things are happening at the same time.
It is happening a lot and that is why there are fixed cameras the scale of shot is big because there is a lot happening but is not too big to emphasize the chaos that is going on.
The small shots give an impression of movement and that a lot is going on and time goes by very fast.
